On Wednesday, March 2nd, Nils will be the featured speaker at Santa Rosa Junior College's Environmental Forum.
His talk, entitled How Resilient is Your Community? will explore the epic-scale challenges we face as a people — and how groups of local citizens around the world are responding with a meaningful, organic movement toward thriving resilience for all by designing systems in harmony and integrity with the Earth.
At this event, Palsson will be representing of Transition US, the national hub of the global Transition Towns movement toward local resilience. Attend this talk to hear from Nils' experience as a community organizer. Explore powerful models of grassroots change, learn the meaning of “permaculture,” and locate these developments within the greater Movement for environmental and social justice.
